This is the kit for the tradesman who wants to add brush or pen plating at a later date. It has plenty of power for all of your toughest jobs. You will find this kit being used by many of the finest jewelry shops and jewelry manufacturers. This is the same rectifier that is included in our Auto Trim Kit and used by many of the auto shops across the country. If you are serious about plating jewelry this is the kit for you. This kit is for plating in tank solutions. It does not contain brush-plating equipment. It includes:

Large Electroforming Kit # K-16

This is the kit for our customers who want to do larger pieces or more pieces at one time when electroforming. to add brush or pen plating at a later date. It has a larger rectifier which will allow you to run up to 190 square inches at one time. If you are thinking about plating jewelry on a larger scale then our "Professional Tank Plating Kit" then this is the kit for you. This kit is for plating in tank solutions. It does not contain brush-plating equipment. It contains 2 gallons of Copper Electroforming solution so that you can do larger items as well as many multiple pieces in the Electroforming tank. Since the copper step will take from 2 to 8 hours you want to run as many pieces at one time as possible for production. The other solutions are 1 quart size since you will only be plating them for one and a half to 2 minutes each, you don't need as large of a tank. It contains:

This kit contains our 20 amp Heavy Duty Rectifier # RH-6, 5 gallons of Copper Electroforming solution, 1 qt of Nickel Solution, 1 qt of 24kt Gold Solution, 1 qt Silver Solution, 1 qt of Electrolytic Cleaner, 4 copper anodes 4" X 6", 1 Nickel Anode 2" X 3", 3 Stainless Steel Anodes 2" X 3", 2 Copper Brighteners, 1 Nickel Brightener, Conductive Spray Kit.  One Gallon Special Copper & Nickel Tank Plating Kit  

We have had many customers who do chrome plating  ask us  for a tank plating setup to do the copper and nickel plating by tank. The advantage of a tank system for copper is that you can build-up a thick layer of copper allowing you to polish and fill in small scratches and pits. Copper when buffed, smears and will fill in small imperfections. Also the brighteners in the copper and nickel tanks will plate out bright and eliminate a lot of the buffing and polishing. It is for those purposes that we designed the following two tank plating kits. These are not stand alone kits but a kit that you would add to your brush plating set-up. The same machine can be used for both. The One Gallon Kit contains the following:

One gallon of copper alkaline tank solution, One gallon of copper acid based solution. (This is the same solution that is used for electroforming and can build up a heavy layer of copper. The alkaline copper must be used first over steel.) One gallon of nickel tank plating solution, four copper anodes 1 1/2" X 3", two nickel anodes 2" X 3",  and one roll of copper wire to hook up your work pieces.

   Five Gallon Special Copper & Nickel Tank Plating Kit

This kit is a larger version of the above kit for doing tank Plating of larger pieces. It also contains both types of copper plate as well as nickel plating. This kit does not contain plating tanks. You can use plastic contains such as storage containers or Five gallon plastic pails will work for most items. It is recommended that you use a 10 amp or larger rectifier with this kit.  The kit contains the following:

Five gallons of Copper Alkaline Tank Solution, Five Gallons of  Copper Acid Based Solution, (This is the same solution that is used for electroforming and can build up a heavy layer of copper. The alkaline copper must be used first over steel.) Five gallon of nickel tank plating solution, Four Copper Anodes 4"X6", Two Nickel Anodes 3"X6" and a Roll Of Copper Wire.
