In plating the final finish will always be determined by how smooth of a finish you have before you plate. Your finish will always mirror what is underneath. In Chrome plating, whatever finish you have on the nickel will determine the finish on the chrome.So if you have a shiny finish when you start you will have a shiny finish after you plate the item. If you start with a satin finish, you will end with a satin finish unless you polish the piece first. A scratch in a piece before you start will be visible after you plate.Buffing and Polishing KitWe now feature 2 different motors in our Buffering and polishing kits.
